The Shared Horizons project presentation and panel discussion will take place on February 18, 2025, in Podgorica, Montenegro, organized by ALDA.
The panel will gather experts in cultural heritage, history, storytelling, and photography from the region, along with representatives from local and international institutions working in the field of cultural heritage. The discussion will focus on how cultural heritage can serve as a tool for reconciliation.
Supported by Expertise France, the Shared Horizons Project aims to promote peace and reconciliation in the Western Balkans. ALDA leads component 2 of the project, which focuses on preserving and promoting the region’s cultural heritage, with an emphasis on six bridges located in six different countries. The project will engage young people from diverse communities through a mix of historical research, photography, and storytelling, fostering a deeper understanding of the past and encouraging a future rooted in solidarity, free from divisive narratives.
The event will take place at the Multimedia Hall of KIC Budo Tomović, starting at 9:30 AM.
