Since its establishment in November 2004, the Local Democracy Agency Mostar has been acting as a locally registered, non-profit organization, with the support of its partners and in cooperation with the other LDAs and ALDA. It is precisely this cooperation, both on local and regional level, that has enabled numerous activities and projects useful for the development of local communities and its inclusion into processes at the regional level. The activities of LDA Mostar, aimed at creating a more active citizenry and more transparent and accountable local authorities, are focused towards the development of a modern democratic society. These activities entangle every segment of the life of the local community and offer a possibility of improving the living standard of all components of the society by directly influencing concrete changes.
