In a gesture of support to Ukraine and its population, EU member states have unanimously agreed to extend temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees, reaffirming their commitment to those fleeing conflict and uncertainty. 

ALDA participated at the third Transnational Partner Meeting within the Includate – Educating for Inclusion project: funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and led by the German organization Comparative Research Network, the project aims directly at the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities, specifically migrants. 

On 6 & 7 June 2023, within the framework of ALDA Festival and General Assembly 2023, EPIC – European Platform of Integrating Cities partners and both local and international stakeholders gathered together in Brussels (Belgium) for the last events of the project.

ALDA is one of partners of the MIICT project – ICT Enabled Services for Migration, which has recently released the Joint Migration Policy Whitepaper “Towards ICT-Enabled Integration of Migrants”.

After more than 3 years of hard work, the partners of EPIC will finally have the opportunity to gather together for the Final events of the project, which will take place on the 6th and 7th June in Brussels. 

In March 2022, ALDA organised an international event in Trieste, as part of the project EUScepticOBSERVE: analysing Euroscepticism, informing citizens and encouraging debates. Trieste was chosen as the location as it is particularly representative of the theme being analysed. Hence, the event itself was called “Euroscepticism at the gates of Europe”.

On the 19th and 20th January in Bologna, Italy, the Final Symposium of the “PERCEPTIONS – Understanding the Impact of Narratives and Perceptions of Europe on Migration and Providing Practices, Tools and Guides for Practitioners” project took place. The partners met to discuss the results achieved during this last three and a half years of fieldwork research and development.
