The Mallorcan Solidarity and Cooperation Fund is a non-profit organisation set up in 1993 as an instrument of coordination and support for decentralised cooperation in Mallorca, with the intention of bringing together the efforts of local and regional institutions (Town Councils, the Council and the Government) to promote solidarity between Mallorca and the countries of the South.
The economic resources that local councils and partner administrations contribute to the Mallorcan Fund are used to finance cooperation and emergency projects in the countries of the South, as well as awareness-raising initiatives that are carried out in Mallorca.
