Coralie joined ALDA in December 2024, she works as a project development assistant in the Skopje office as part of the French Service Civique.
Coralie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Lille (France), during which she spent a year at Durham University (United Kingdom) as part of Erasmus+.
She holds two master’s degrees from the University of Amsterdam. Her first master’s focused on European Policy and External Relations, while the second one was dedicated to Conflict Resolution and Governance. During her second master’s degree, her master’s thesis focused on human rights upholding within the breakaway state of Transnistria, internationally recognised as part of Moldova. As part of my research, I interviewed civil society from the breakaway state to get insight into their lived experiences. I then used these testimonies to draw conclusions and report about international organisations’ lack of engagement towards upholding human rights and democratic values within breakaway states.
Upon graduation, Coralie volunteered in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nepal through the European Solidarity Corps. The mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina revolved around supporting IOM’s work in the Temporary Reception Centre of Blazuj. In Nepal, her mission focused on women’s empowerment through entrepreneurship and soft skills development.
Coralie is a native French speaker and proficient in English. She has a good knowledge of Italian and German and basic skills in Nepali.
