The Municipality of Brtonigla-Verteneglio is situated in the northern part of the Istria region, Croatia. The main guidelines for the development of the Municipality are agriculture and tourism. Special attention is given to the education of the new generations, to sensitize them to respect the nature and to teach them the culture of the area. The municipal policies give an enormous space to young people. The Municipality of Brtonigla-Verteneglio has cooperation relationships with several institutions, administrative bodies and with a variety of organizations and development agencies, both governmental and non-governmental, local, regional and international.
