The Pitiús Cooperation Fund is a non-profit association that works, through development cooperation and transformative education, to achieve a world respectful of the culture of peace, with fundamental rights of people and with the environment. It was created in October 1999 and is composed of two types of partners: local public institutions and Ongds from Ibiza and Formentera. Fons Pitiús was declared a public utility entity by the Council of Ministers in April 2004, in recognition of the work carried out and for the transparency of its management.
