“Ya-Buchanets” is an NGO founded in 2017 by active and motivated residents of Bucha. It constantly focuses its efforts on helping to solve urgent social needs, problems and restoration of the Bucha city territorial community, which suffered as a result of the military aggression of the Russian federation.
In 2019, to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and support healthcare workers, the and support for healthcare workers, the Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance Development and Democratic Governance (PLEDDG) project was implemented in 2019. Members of the NGO informed the community and coordinated local businesses to support medical facilities equipment, medicines, and promoted the dissemination of methods to adapt to the new reality. From December 2020 to February 2021, the program was implemented for training local family doctors and outpatient clinics” with the financial support of the International Renaissance Foundation. “Ya Buchanets” effectively cooperates with local authorities to restore the Bucha city territorial community and work on new challenges and projects.
