In cooperation with local partners in Moldova, starting in mid-July 2020 ALDA has organized more than 15 trainings in the context of the AGREED project’s capacity-building programme for Local Authorities (LAs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).

With the aim to increase LPAs and CSOs’ knowledge and skills in the fields of decentralization, transparency and citizen participation, the programme provides them with crucial training on the application of the principles of participatory democracy within the context of local communities. The trainings, which should amount to at least one for each of the 32 districts of Moldova by the end of September, are delivered face-to-face where possible and in online format in those districts where the Covid-19 situation doesn’t allow for that.

Panel discussions tackle various aspects of cooperation between CSOs and LAs, such as open government partnership in the service of local democracy or the preconditions for effective cooperation between the two; so far, all meetings have gathered around 35-45 participants including a great mix of mayors, local counselors and representatives of non-governmental organisations, as well as the presidents and/or vice-presidents of the districts when available.

“We will be grateful if you’ll organize such trainings in the future again”, mentioned participants in their evaluation questionnaire. “The information and consultation provided is extremely helpful”.

Co-financed by National Endowment for Democracy (NED), the capacity-building programme is looking forward to continue its mission in the coming weeks with hopefully ever-increasing success!

The 24-month AGREED project (Activating Governance Reform for Enhancing Development) is co-financed by the European Union and implemented by Alda together with the Local Democracy Agency Moldova and the University Legal Clinic Balti. It aims to strengthen the capacity of Moldovan local authorities to perform a transparent and participatory governance in their Communities, with a specific reference to the policy-making process related to decentralisation reform.

While Coronavirus keeps circulating all over the world, governments and civic society organizations are each implementing their own measures to face the pandemic, thus giving a variety of local responses to this global phenomenon.

For months now, ALDA member the Local Council Association (LCA) has been doing just that in its home country of Malta, and ALDA is proud to share such contribution as one of the good practices to counter the crisis that we are studying through our ad hoc questionnaire. In cooperation with the island’s authorities, LCA is in fact involved in the management of two projects that could actually continue and evolve even after the end of the current emergency, given their proven ability to improve the quality of life in Malta.

The first project is called YouSafe. Starting from the assumption that any crisis can be seen as an opportunity to improve behaviours and procedures, its founding idea is for the pandemic to act as a motivation for Local Councils to move away from a model of delivering services to and for people, and adopt a model of delivering services with people instead.

Indeed, YouSafe’s setup consists of 68 Facebook Groups, one for each Maltese Local Council, which are managed and moderated independently by each Local Council’s team. All groups then come together under a single ad hoc Facebook Page aiming to facilitate growth, the dissemination of general information and the cross-sharing of information among the different communities and Local Councils. Moreover, the team managing each group is encouraged to take part in conversations to reach a variety of goals, among which the creation and fostering of dialogue with local inhabitants; a greater involvement in decision-making; the energising of residents around particular initiatives or topics; and a habit for communities to help one another.

Secondly but not less importantly, the LCA is carrying forward the Slow Streets project, too. In cooperation with the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government and in coordination with Transport Malta and the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Project, the Association is working on an action plan to make sure that the mobility flows resuming after Coronavirus’ first wave are safe, sustainable, healthy and efficient.

More specifically, as travelling on foot and by bycicle will keep being the most recommended ways to get around for short and medium distances, the plan wishes to promote walking and cycling; and, with that in mind, it foresees a few necessary temporary interventions. Such short-term actions can in turn be considered as a tool to test ideas before implementing large-scale and expensive projects which might run the risk of not actually meeting the designed goals, while some may prove so successful as to become permanent or cyclical from their very onset.

All actions are part of the LCA Vision 2019-2024 plan, through which Malta will implement actions in the four key sectors of urban green; mobility and sustainable transport; smart city; and open space. Hoping that this can serve as inspiration for others, ALDA wishes to congratulate the Local Council Association for its amazing efforts so far: keep up the remarkable work!

We are happy to announce a recent addition among the ranks of our ALDA ambassadors! As of beginning of August 2020, we were delighted to have Pascal Goergen join this wonderful group of committed individuals with the mandate to represent the Association and consolidate it at the local level as a pan-European organisation… and beyond.

Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of Grez-Doiceau in Belgium, where Mr Goergen leads citizen participation, civic affairs, population, digitalisation, international relations and partnerships, we couldn’t think of a better fit for this role and its aim to improve visibility and establish relationships with new counterparts and to support the action of the ALDA members in Belgium.

With around 20 years of experience in local and regional European affairs, indeed, this 57-year-old Belgian is a doctor in Political Science and a trained Germanist who is very familiar with the realities of his country and is a fervent defender of democratic values, particularly at the regional, national and European levels.

Included in his noteworthy curriculum are 10 years as diplomatic representative of the Brussels-Capital region to the European Union as well as almost 4 years as Secretary General of the Assembly of European Regions (AER); and it was out of Mr Goergen’s initiative that his Municipality became the first ALDA member of the Walloon Region in 2019 and will soon participate in a European project in partnership with other ALDA members, too.

“From the beginning of my mandate in Grez-Doiceau in December 2018, I have put ethics, good governance and citizen participation at the centre of my concerns. A charter of good governance and a code of citizen participation were adopted by the Communal Council. My municipality’s membership of ALDA is a real added value: on the one hand, it is a way of putting Grez-Doiceau on the European map and, on the other hand, it provides a whole range of tools to improve citizens’ participation in local life: through European programmes, exchanges of good practice and via the ALDA network. As an ambassador, I would like all Belgian municipalities to benefit from this added value that Alda represents“. Thank you Pascal, and welcome!

The Media Dialogue project, implemented with the financial support of the European Union, is launching its third call for proposal, this time in light of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan, on October 4th, 2020.

This grants call is meant to support Kyrgyz media organisations in the creation of media outputs related to the parliamentary elections, and is addressed to private and no-profit media outlets and other media actors such as associations of journalists and editors, CSOs and production studios/companies officially registered in Kyrgyzstan. Applications by consortia of two or more eligible organisations are encouraged.

To be eligible under this call for proposals, interested organisations should send the completed application and budget forms in English, Russian or Kyrgyz language to cholponbolotbekova@epd.eu.

The deadline to submit project proposals is August 16th, 2020, at 23:59 (Bishkek time)

Media Dialogue is implemented by a consortium of five organisations: the European Partnership for Democracy (lead partner), ARTICLE 19, the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the Media Policy Institute and Alda*. The project aims to strengthen the national media environment in Kyrgyzstan by engaging media outlets, decision-makers and civil society in a dialogue to identify the challenges faced by the media sphere which harness their potential in promoting media policy and reforms in the sector.

Remember the Student Talent Bank project? It took place from November 2017 to December 2019, and we would normally hardly have any more news on it now. Yet, July 15th, 2020 marked a moment of special pride as ALDA received an unexpected letter by the Erasmus+ Agency in France; one which officially gave the project the label of “Bonne Pratique”, good practice!

After a careful qualitative evaluation of the project’s final report and a verification of its financial management, in fact, the Agency carried out a conclusive, all-comprehensive evaluation on the basis of criteria defined by the European Commission to measure the relevance, general quality of implementation, impact and dissemination of the project results, and found them to be of high quality. Hence, the project was selected as an official example of good practice, and ALDA is now entitled to the use of the related “Bonne Pratique” logo to represent it!

This selection may give rise, in the future, to requests by the Agency as well as by the European Commission in terms of testimonies, interventions or publications, project collections and participation to prizes, within the framework of specific actions of promotion linked to the implementation and / or the results of other European Erasmus+ projects. In addition, this mention of distinction now appears on the Erasmus+ project results platform.

ALDA is of course more than proud of this recognition, and extremely grateful to the evaluators and to all project managers and partners who contributed to such exemplary results.

The Student Talent Bank project aimed to foster secondary school teachers’ professional development in order to better manage diversity and early school leaving, and to increase school engagement especially in areas characterised by high percentages of ethnic minorities and foreign-born students.

It focused on (1) strengthening the profile of school teachers by enhancing entrepreneurial education and learning with a participatory approach to training; and (2) tackling early school leaving, by using entrepreneurial education as a method to support teachers in increasing student engagement and enabling students to take the future in their hands. Project activities were implemented in Belgium, France, Greece, Netherlands, Romania, and Spain.

Félicitations, Student Talent Bank ! Une “Bonne Pratique” certifiée par Erasmus+ France

Vous vous souvenez du projet de banque de talents des étudiants (Student Talent Bank)? Il s’est déroulé de novembre 2017 à décembre 2019, et nous n’aurions normalement guère plus de nouvelles à ce sujet maintenant. Pourtant, le 15 juillet 2020 a marqué un moment de fierté particulière puisque l’ALDA a reçu une lettre inattendue de l’Agence Erasmus+ en France ; une lettre qui a officiellement donné au projet le label “Bonne Pratique” !

En effet, après une évaluation qualitative minutieuse du rapport final du projet et une vérification de sa gestion financière, l’Agence a procédé à une évaluation concluante et complète sur la base de critères définis par la Commission européenne pour mesurer la pertinence, la qualité générale de la mise en œuvre, l’impact et la diffusion des résultats du projet, et a constaté leur grande qualité. Le projet a donc été sélectionné comme exemple officiel de bonne pratique, et l’ALDA a maintenant le droit d’utiliser le logo “Bonne Pratique” pour le représenter !

Cette sélection pourra donner lieu, à l’avenir, à des demandes de l’Agence ainsi que de la Commission européenne en termes de témoignages, d’interventions ou de publications, de collectes de projets et de participation à des prix, dans le cadre d’actions spécifiques de promotion liées à la mise en œuvre et/ou aux résultats d’autres projets européens Erasmus+. En outre, cette mention de distinction figure désormais sur la plateforme de résultats des projets Erasmus+.

L’ALDA est bien sûr plus que fière de cette reconnaissance, et extrêmement reconnaissante aux évaluateurs et à tous les gestionnaires et partenaires de projets qui ont contribué à des résultats aussi exemplaires.

Le projet de banque de talents des étudiants visait à favoriser le développement professionnel des enseignants du secondaire afin de mieux gérer la diversité et le décrochage scolaire, et à accroître l’engagement des écoles, en particulier dans les zones caractérisées par un pourcentage élevé de minorités ethniques et d’étudiants nés à l’étranger.

Il s’est concentré sur (1) le renforcement du profil des enseignants en améliorant l’éducation et l’apprentissage entrepreneurial avec une approche participative de la formation ; et (2) la lutte contre le décrochage scolaire, en utilisant l’éducation entrepreneuriale comme méthode pour aider les enseignants à accroître l’engagement des élèves et leur permettre de prendre l’avenir en main. Les activités du projet ont été mises en œuvre en Belgique, en France, en Grèce, aux Pays-Bas, en Roumanie et en Espagne.

Congratulazioni, Student Talent Bank! Un certificato “Bonne Pratique” da Erasmus+ Francia

Vi ricordate del progetto Student Talent Bank? Ha avuto luogo da novembre 2017 a dicembre 2019 e, normalmente, non avremmo avuto più notizie al riguardo ora. Tuttavia, il 15 luglio 2020 ha segnato uno speciale momento di orgoglio, in quanto ALDA ha ricevuto una lettera inaspettata dall’Agenzia Erasmus+ Francia, la quale ha assegnato ufficialmente al progetto l’etichetta di “Bonne Pratique”, buona pratica!

Dopo un’attenta valutazione qualitativa del report finale del progetto e una verifica della sua gestione finanziaria, l’Agenzia ha effettuato una valutazione conclusiva e globale sulla base di criteri definiti dalla Commissione Europea per misurare la pertinenza, la qualità generale di attuazione, impatto e diffusione dei risultati del progetto e li ha trovati di alta qualità. Quindi, il progetto è stato selezionato come esempio ufficiale di buone pratiche e ALDA è ora autorizzata all’uso del relativo logo “Bonne Pratique” per rappresentarlo!

Questa selezione potrebbe dare origine, in futuro, a richieste dell’Agenzia e della Commissione Europea in termini di testimonianze, interventi o pubblicazioni, raccolte di progetti e partecipazioni a premi, nell’ambito di azioni specifiche di promozione legate all’attuazione e / o ai risultati di altri progetti europei Erasmus+. Inoltre, questa menzione di distinzione appare ora sulla piattaforma dei risultati del progetto Erasmus+.

Naturalmente ALDA è molto orgogliosa di questo riconoscimento ed è estremamente grata ai periti e a tutti i project manager e partner che hanno contribuito a risultati così esemplari.

Il progetto Student Talent Bank mirava a favorire lo sviluppo professionale degli insegnanti delle scuole secondarie al fine di gestire meglio la diversità e l’abbandono scolastico e aumentare l’impegno scolastico, specialmente nelle aree caratterizzate da elevate percentuali di minoranze etniche e studenti di origine straniera.

Si è concentrato sul (1) rafforzamento del profilo degli insegnanti scolastici, migliorando l’istruzione e l’apprendimento imprenditoriale con un approccio partecipativo alla formazione; e sull’ (2) affrontare l’abbandono scolastico precoce, utilizzando l’educazione imprenditoriale come metodo per supportare gli insegnanti nell’aumentare il coinvolgimento degli studenti e consentire loro di prendere il futuro nelle loro mani. Le attività del progetto sono state implementate in Belgio, Francia, Grecia, Paesi Bassi, Romania e Spagna.

Поздравляем, Студенческий банк талантов! Сертифицированный «Bonne Pratique» от Erasmus + во Франции

Помните проект Student Talent Bank? Это происходило с ноября 2017 года по декабрь 2019 года, и сейчас у нас вряд ли будут какие-либо новости об этом. Тем не менее, 15 июля 2020 года ознаменовалось особой гордостью, поскольку ALDA получила неожиданное письмо от агентства Erasmus + во Франции того самого, которое официально дало проекту ярлык ”Bonne Pratique”, хорошая практика!

После тщательной качественной оценки окончательного отчета по проекту и проверки его финансового управления, Агентство провело окончательную всеобъемлющую оценку на основе критериев, определенных Европейской комиссией, для измерения актуальности, общего качества реализации, воздействия и распространения результатов проекта, и обнаружили, что они были высокого качества. Деятельность проекта осуществлялась в Бельгии, Франции, Греции, Нидерландах, Румынии и Испании.

Čestitamo, Studentskoj banci talenata! Sertifikovani projekat „Bonne Pratique“ – Dobra praksa – od strane Erasmus+ Francuska

Sećate li se projekta Studentska banka talenata? Taj projekat se odvijao od novembra 2017. do decembra 2019. godine, pa o njemu uglavnom više nema vesti. Ipak, 15. jula 2020. obeležen je poseban trenutak kada je ALDA dobila neočekivano pismo od strane Erasmus+ agencije u Francuskoj; u kojem se zvanično projektu daje oznaka „Bonne Pratikue“, što u prevodu znači dobra praksa!

Nakon pažlјive kvalitativne procene završnog izveštaja projekta i provere njegovog finansijskog upravlјanja, agencija je, u stvari, sprovela konačnu, sveobuhvatnu procenu na osnovu kriterijuma koje je definisala Evropska komisija da bi izmerili relevantnost, opšti kvalitet primene, uticaja i širenja rezultata projekta i ustanovili da su oni visokog kvaliteta. Dakle, projekat je izabran kao zvaničan primer dobre prakse, a ALDA sada ima pravo da koristi odgovarajući logotip „Bonne Pratikue“!

Ovaj izbor može ubuduće izazvati zahteve agencije i Evropske komisije u smislu svedočenja, intervencija ili publikacija, kolekcije projekata i učešća u nagradama u okviru posebnih akcija promocije vezanih za sprovođenje i / ili rezultate drugih evropskih Erasmus+ projekata. Pored toga, ovo priznanje sada se pojavlјuje i na platformi rezultata Erasmus+ .

Projekat Studentska banka talenata imao je za cilј da podstiče profesionalni razvoj nastavnika u srednjim školama u cilјu bolјeg upravlјanja raznolikošću i ranim napuštanjem školovanja, kao i da poveća školski angažman, posebno u oblastima koje karakterišu visoki procenti etničkih manjina i učenika rođenih u stranim školama.

Fokusirao se na (1) jačanje profila školskih nastavnika pobolјšavanjem preduzetničkog obrazovanja i učenja sa participativnim pristupom obuci; i (2) rešavanju ranog napuštanja škole, korišćenjem preduzetničkog obrazovanja kao metode za podršku nastavnicima u povećanju učeničkog angažmana i omogućavanju učenicima da preuzmu budućnost u svoje ruke. Projektne aktivnosti su realizovane u Belgiji, Francuskoj, Grčkoj, Holandiji, Rumuniji i Španiji.

هل تتذكر مشروع بنك مواهب الطلبة؟ حتى وإن انتظمت هذه التظاهرة خلال الفترة نوفمبر 2017 إلى ديسمبر 2029, إلا أننا نكاد لا نحصل على مزيد من المعلومات حولها الآن. غير أن تاريخ 15 من شهر جويلية (تموز) 2019 يمثل فترة فخر خاصة بالنسبة لألد التي تلقت رسالة مفاجأة من وكالة إيرسمس+ في فرنسا: رسالة منح المشروع رسميا علامة الممارسةالجيدة.

على إثر عملية التقييم المعمقة للتقرير النهائي للمشروع ومراجعة طريقة التصرف في شؤونه المالية, تولت الوكالة القيام بتقييم إيجابي وشامل أنجز على أساس جملة من المقاييس تم ضبطها من قبل المفوضية الأوروبية لتقييم درجة الأهمية وتطبيق معايير الجودة العامة وتأثير نتائج المشروع وطريقة نشرها, خلصت الوكالة إلى الدرجة العالية من الشروط في تنفيذ كافة مكونات المشروع. وبالتالي, تماختيارالمشروعرسمياكمثاليجسدالممارسةالجيدةويمكنألدامناستغلالشعار “الممارسةالجيدة” ذاتالصلة لتمثيلها في كافة المحافل.

على إثر عملية الاختيار هذه, يصبح بإمكان الوكالة والمفوضية الأوروبية, مستقبلا, التقدم بطلبات, حول الشهادات والمداخلات والمنشورات وجمع المشاريع والمساهمة في منح الجوائز, وذلك في إطار الأنشطة الخاصة المرتبطة بمجال الترويج والداعية إلى تنفيذ و/أو النتائج المتمخضة على مشاريع إيرسمس+ الأوروبية. بالإضافة إلى كل هذا, تم تدوين علامةالامتيازالخاصةهذهالآنضمنمنصةالنتائجالتييديرهامشروعإيرسمس+.

Lunedì 20 luglio 2020, dalle ore 20, presso il Faber Box del Comune di Schio si terrà un incontro pubblico per dare nuova vita ai Consigli di Quartiere del Comune vicentino di circa 40.000 abitanti.

ALDA supporta il Comune in questo processo partecipativo in preparazione alle elezioni del 15 novembre 2020 per il rinnovo dei Consigli di Quartiere, associazioni da sempre sostenute dall’Amministrazione Comunale che agiscono per finalità sociali, culturali, sportive, ricreative e solidali, per il bene della comunità e del quartiere che rappresentano. Inizialmente in programma per lo scorso 10 maggio, le elezioni dei rappresentanti delle sette aree scledensi in cui viene suddiviso il territorio cittadino erano state posticipate a causa dell’emergenza sanitaria.

“Non c’è città senza comunità, e non c’è comunità senza la partecipazione attiva dei suoi abitanti!“, incalza il sito del Comune; “IL QUARTIERE COMINCIA DA TE!”.

Attraverso la cura del territorio, la solidarietà e la democrazia diretta che storicamente caratterizzano il focus dei Consigli di Quartiere, l’Amministrazione Comunale desidera infatti stimolare il dialogo bilaterale con i cittadini in un percorso comune che parte proprio da questi due incontri.

ALDA non può che incoraggiare quanto mai caldamente la partecipazione a tale lodevole iniziativa: la democrazia partecipativa, la responsabilità sociale e la cittadinanza attiva ne sono il cuore pulsante e ci auguriamo che saranno moltissimi gli scledensi coinvolti!

The European Association for Local Democracy is approaching its 20th anniversary, and we couldn’t be more excited for this upcoming milestone which further consolidates the Association’s relevance and influence in the enlarged Europe“, are the first few welcoming words of ALDA President Oriano Otočan at the very beginning of the ALDA Activity Report 2019.

“The last 12 months have witnessed a whirlwind of concrete ALDA actions and initiatives which quite simply went over and beyond in support of active citizenship and participatory democracy: beyond all set geographic limits; beyond expectations; beyond all usual project horizons“.

Indeed, our wish and invitation for all ALDA members, networks, partners and friends in this particular and special times is to join us in this journey through the past year, carefully collected in a little over 80 pages of dedicated activities.

From a summary of 2019 in images to an overview of ALDA’s worldwide presence and a solid presentation of the Association’s work in the field, all the way to our action in 5 Ps, behind the scenes activities and ways to get involved, the ALDA Activity Report serves as a reminder both of wonderful outcomes, successes, and achievements; and of what’s still to be done and worked on – our goals for the present and the upcoming future.

Of course, it couldn’t be better complemented than by the Local Democracy Agencies’ Activity Report 2019, where the now 15 LDAs and 3 Operational Partners showcase the geographic and cultural width of their crucial, relentless contributions to the cause.

In the words of ALDA Secretary General Antonella Valmorbida: “the challenging times we are living in call for our work to be more efficient and effective than ever before […] It’s [about] the vision we want for each of the ALDA local communities: a vision of local democracy“.

Rapports d’activité de l’ALDA et des ADL 2019, en vue de l’ALDA 2020 ! 

“Malgré les difficultés indéniables engendrées par la crise actuelle du Covid-19, c’est un grand honneur pour moi de présenter le rapport d’activité 2019 de l’ALDA, cette année peut-être avec encore plus de satisfaction que d’habitude.

L’Association Européenne pour la Démocratie Locale approche de son 20ème anniversaire, et nous ne pourrions pas être plus enthousiastes pour cette prochaine étape qui consolide encore plus la pertinence et l’influence de l’Association dans l’Europe élargie”, sont les premiers mots d’introduction du Président de l’ALDA, Monsieur Oriano Otočan, qui précèdent le rapport d’activité 2019 de l’ALDA.

“Les 12 derniers mois ont été témoins d’un tourbillon d’actions et d’initiatives concrètes de l’ALDA qui ont tout simplement dépassé les limites de la citoyenneté active et de la démocratie participative : au-delà de toutes les limites géographiques fixées, au-delà des attentes, au-delà de tous les horizons habituels des projets”.

En effet, notre souhait et notre invitation envers tous les membres, réseaux, partenaires et amis de l’ALDA en ces temps particuliers et extraordinaires est de nous rejoindre dans ce voyage à travers l’année écoulée, soigneusement rassemblé dans un peu plus de 80 pages d’activités dédiées.

D’un résumé de 2019 en images à un aperçu de la présence de l’ALDA dans le monde et à une solide présentation du travail de l’Association sur le terrain, en passant par notre action en “5 Ps”, les activités en coulisses et les moyens de s’impliquer, le rapport d’activité de l’ALDA sert à la fois de remémoration des merveilleux résultats, succès et réalisations ; et de rappel de ce qui reste à construire et à réaliser – nos objectifs pour le présent et pour le futur proche.

Bien entendu, ce rapport ne saurait être mieux complété que par le rapport d’activité 2019 des Agences de la Démocratie Locale, dans lequel les 15 ADL et les 3 partenaires opérationnels illustrent l’étendue géographique et culturelle de leurs contributions cruciales et permanentes à la cause.

Selon les mots de la Secrétaire générale de l’ALDA, Madame Antonella Valmorbida : “Les temps difficiles que nous vivons exigent que notre travail soit plus efficace et performant que jamais […] Il s’agit de la vision que nous souhaitons pour chacune des communautés locales de l’ALDA : une vision de la démocratie locale”.

I report delle attività di ALDA e delle ADL del 2019, verso ALDA 2020!

“Nonostante le innegabili difficoltà causate dall’attuale crisi del Covid-19, è un grande onore per me presentare il report delle attività di ALDA del 2019, quest’anno forse con ancora maggiore soddisfazione del solito.

Il 20° anniversario dell’Associazione Europea per la Democrazia Locale è vicino e non potremmo essere più entusiasti di questa imminente pietra miliare, che consolida ulteriormente la rilevanza e l’influenza dell’Associazione nell’Europa allargata”, sono le prime parole introduttive del presidente di ALDA Oriano Otočan all’inizio del report delle attività di ALDA del 2019.

“Gli ultimi 12 mesi sono stati testimoni di un vortice di azioni e iniziative concrete di ALDA, a sostegno della cittadinanza attiva e della democrazia partecipativa, e sono andate oltre tutti i limiti geografici; oltre le aspettative; oltre tutti i consueti orizzonti di progetto”.

Realmente, in questi tempi particolari e speciali è nostro desiderio e invito a tutti i soci, le reti, i partner e gli amici di ALDA di unirsi a noi in questo viaggio nell’anno trascorso, accuratamente raccolto in poco più di 80 pagine di attività dedicate.

Da un riassunto del 2019 in immagini a una panoramica della presenza mondiale di ALDA e una solida presentazione del lavoro dell’Associazione sul campo, fino alla nostra azione in 5 “P”, alle attività dietro le quinte e a come unirsi e partecipare, il report delle attività di ALDA serve come promemoria sia dei meravigliosi risultati e successi conseguiti, sia di ciò che ancora deve essere compiuto, su cui lavorare: i nostri obiettivi per il presente e per il prossimo futuro.

Naturalmente, non potrebbe essere meglio integrato dal report delle attività delle Agenzie per la Democrazia Locale del 2019, in cui le attuali 15 ADL e 3 partner operativi mostrano l’ampiezza geografica e culturale dei loro contributi cruciali e determinati alla causa.

Nelle parole della Segretario Generale di ALDA, Antonella Valmorbida: “i tempi difficili che stiamo vivendo chiedono che il nostro lavoro sia più efficiente ed efficace che mai […] Si tratta della realtà che desideriamo per ciascuna delle comunità locali di ALDA: una realtà di democrazia locale”.

Отчеты о деятельности ALDA и агенств местной демократии за 2019 год!

“Несмотря на неоспоримые трудности, вызванные продолжающимся кризисом Covid-19, для меня большая честь представить отчет о деятельности ALDA за 2019 год, возможно, в этом году с еще большим удовлетворением, чем обычно. Европейская ассоциация местной демократии приближается к своему 20-летнему юбилею, и мы очень взволнованы этой предстоящей вехой, которая еще больше укрепляет значимость и влияние Ассоциации в расширенной Европе”, – этими словами приветствует президент ALDA Ориано Оточана в самом начале отчета о деятельности ALDA 2019.

“За последние 12 месяцев был отмечен вихрь конкретных действий и инициатив ALDA, которые просто вышли за рамки поддержки активной гражданственности и демократии участия: за пределами установленных географических ограничений, за пределами ожиданий, за пределами всех обычных проектных горизонтов”.

На самом деле, мы хотим и приглашаем всех членов, сети, партнеров и друзей ALDA в это особенное время присоединиться к нам в этом путешествии в течение прошедшего года, тщательно собранного на чуть более 80 страницах специальных мероприятий.

От сводки 2019 года в изображениях до обзора присутствия ALDA по всему миру и подробного представления работы Ассоциации на местах, вплоть до наших действий, закулисных мероприятий и способов участия, отчет о деятельности ALDA служит напоминанием о прекрасных результатах, успехах и достижениях; и о том, что еще предстоит сделать и над чем поработать – наши цели на настоящее и будущее.

Конечно, это не может быть дополнено лучше, чем Отчетом о деятельности агентств местной демократии за 2019 год, где теперь 15 агентств местной демократии и 3 операционных партнера демонстрируют географический и культурный размах их решающего, неустанного вклада в дело.

По словам генерального секретаря ALDA Антонеллы Вальморбиды “трудные времена, в которые мы живем, требуют, чтобы наша работа была более эффективной и действенной, чем когда-либо прежде […] Это [о] видении, которое мы хотим видеть для каждого местного сотрудника ALDA сообщества: видение местной демократии”.

Izveštaji o aktivnostima ALDA-e i LDA za 2019, u susretu ALDA-i 2020!

“Uprkos nespornim poteškoćama do kojih je dovela trenutna Covid-19 kriza, velika mi je čast što ću predstaviti izveštaj o aktivnostima ALDA-e za 2019. godinu, možda sa još većim zadovolјstvom nego inače. 

Evropska asocijacija za lokalnu demokratiju bliži se svojoj dvadesetogodišnjici, a mi ne možemo biti uzbuđeniji zbog ove nadolazeće prekretnice koja dodatno učvršćuje važnost i uticaj asocijacije u Evropi”, ovo su bile pozdravne reči predsednika ALDA-e Oriana Otočana na samom početku ALDA izveštaja o aktivnostima za 2019. godinu.

“Poslednjih 12 meseci svedoci smo velikog broja konkretnih akcija i inicijativa ALDA-e koje su i nadilazile podršku za aktivno građanstvo i participativnu demokratiju: izvan svih postavlјenih geografskih ograničenja; iznad očekivanja; izvan svih uobičajenih horizonata projekata”.

Zaista, naša želјa i poziv svim članovima, mrežama, partnerima i prijatelјima ALDA-e u ovom posebnom vremenu je da nam se pridruže na ovom putovanju iz protekle godine, pažlјivo evidentiranom na nešto više od 80 stranica opisanih aktivnosti.

Od rezimea 2019. u slikama do pregleda prisutnosti ALDA-e u svetu i solidnog predstavlјanja rada asocijacije na terenu, sve do naše akcije u “5 P”, aktivnosti iza kulisa i načinima za priključivanje aktivnostima, ALDA izveštaj o aktivnostima služi kao podsetnik na predivne ishode, uspehe i dostignuća; i o onome šta još treba učiniti I kako raditi na našim cilјevima za sadašnjost I budućnost.

Naravno, to se ne bi moglo bolјe dopuniti nego izveštajem o aktivnostima agencija lokalne demokratije za 2019. godinu, gde sada 15 LDA i 3 operativna partnera prikazuju geografsku i kulturnu širinu svog klјučnog doprinosa.

Po rečima generalne sekretarke ALDA Antonele Valmorbide: „izazovna vremena u kojima živimo zahtevaju da naš rad bude efikasniji nego ikada ranije […] To je vizija koju želimo za svaku od ALDA lokalnih zajednica: vizija lokalne demokratije“.

On July 6th-7th, 2020, the EPIC project convened its second Steering Committee meeting, led by EPIC project coordinator Dolinda Cavallo with the participation of representatives from the whole consortium.

The 2-day online exchange aimed to analyze and evaluate the work achieved during the first six months of project implementation, and to define the upcoming steps of the project.

The first day was launched with a short introduction from the project coordinator, as representative of ALDA as lead partner of the project, regarding EPIC’s latest accomplishments and updates; followed by a presentation by Dr. Giovanna Astolfo, of the Bartlett DPU, about the ongoing surveys and research.

The meeting also served as a round table to discuss the next steps for the project: EPIC partners will next meet in Madrid in October 2020 for an in-depth collective brainstorming on what integration services particularly need improving through the job-shadowing activity. In connection to this, ADL-Z presented how this phase of matchmaking will be structured; and, finally, AEIDL – the partner in charge of the communication activities – explained the latest updates concerning the project website, which will be ready soon! During the second day, and following another quick overview of project updates by the project coordinator, the meeting then focused on financial questions and on communication and monitoring issues.

All EPIC partners were actively engaged in the meeting, noted the significant achievements of the project in its first semester and came to a unanimous agreement on how to proceed in the next few months. As lead partners of the project, we are grateful and honoured for their important contributions as part of the consortium, and very much looking forward to keeping the good work up!
