Claudia joined ALDA in June 2024 as a Project Developer. After a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, she earned a master’s degree in Human Rights Law from SOAS University of London and a master’s degree in Human Rights and Conflict Management from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa.
She worked in writing and supporting projects for Blossom Trust, an Indian NGO based in southern India, focusing on women’s empowerment and vulnerable groups such as people with tuberculosis and girls from disadvantaged backgrounds. Previously, she worked between Rome and Brussels on project support and development for the Italian NGO No Peace Without Justice, where she focused mainly on the thematic area of gender equality and female genital mutilation. She has volunteered in Jordan with refugees and in the United Kingdom with people in migrant detention centers.
Claudia is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in English and French.
