The project consists of implementing a research about the participation of civil society organisations in cross-border cooperation.
The research gives general overview of the participation of civil society organisations in cross-border cooperation with focus on the possibilities for involvement of civil society in programming and decision-making in cross-border cooperation as well as their cooperation with municipalities and other stakeholders.
OBJECTIVES
The main goal is to improve the participation of civil society organisations in programmes for cross-border cooperation.
The specific objectives include:
- Implementing research for the participation of civil society organisations in cross-border cooperation;
- Analyse the capacities of civil society organisations regarding their participation in cross-border projects;
- Presenting good practices for participation of civil society organisations and their cooperation with local authorities in realisation of projects for regional development;
- Awareness raising for the opportunities for participation of civil society in cross-border cooperation.
ACTIVITIES
This project consists of the following activities:
- Research for the participation of civil society organisations in the implementation of the projects within IPA programmes for cross-border cooperation;
- Publication of research for participation of civil society organisations in the implementation of the projects within IPA programmes for cross-border cooperation;
- Promotion of research for participation of civil society organisations in the implementation of the projects within IPA programmes for –cross-border cooperation.
