A cloudy day did not stop partners of the “CAMELOT Project” to reach the headquarters of the “Metropolitan Area of Barcelona” (AMB), to join the second international meeting on 28 March 2022.

The AVATAR project – Alto Vicentino Territorial Alliance for Networked Actions, which aims to spread digital literacy in a territory involving some 155,000 inhabitants, has concluded its third semester. During these months, the focus of activities has been on digital literacy to promote the use of public services such as SPID and PA portals, but also to show useful tools in everyday life.

The event “Post-catastrophic cities in a comparative perspective” supported by the program Normandy for peace, was held on a hybrid format the 13th of December 2021 in Skopje, North Macedonia.

While the Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE) is at its peak, the Civil Society Convention on the Future of Europe is working unceasingly to back the CoFoE to ensure a total and wide inclusion of civil society organisations in such a unique and crucial process.

The project Culture Twinning: Twinning Tourism Promoting Cultural Heritage, which started in 2018, is coming to an end with an upcoming last meeting online to close the project and sum up the results.

Implemented for more than two years and funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme, the FACE project aimed to address and prevent the growing phenomenon of cyberbullying among young people, through innovative methodologies combining multidisciplinary artistic approaches.

JOURNEY – Joint Organization to Unite Rural Networks of Entrepreneurial, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, was implemented by a consortium of 8 organizations from 5 countries: Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Actions to reform the media sector in Kyrgyzstan are going on, as never before… with Media Dialogue!

A great example is the collaboration with an outstanding international stakeholder. In fact, ALDA+ is currently supporting UNDP Turkey in developing a comparative assessment within the framework of the project LAR III, Local Administration Reform Project (Phase III).

The conference “Fostering Local Development through Tourism” took place on 26th of May in the frames of the project “Citizens’ voice and actions in consolidated communities of Armenia” with hybrid format supported by European Union.

Although this year has been particularly difficult for the cultural and touristic sector, SMART is even more determined to support local and international tourism; to strengthen organizations and to promote communities’ resilience!

This February – from 22nd to 26th – ALDA joined the “The Nature of Cities” – a virtual festival to engage stakeholders from the whole globe into  discussions on the future of our cities, as more sustainable, fair and just places to live.

The House of Ivo Andric, the only Nobel Prize winner for Literature from Yugoslavia, is now available for visitors through a guided tour.

After several postponements linked to the health crisis, the first conference of the AUTREMENT project (Urban Territorial Development to Reinvent Mobility and Engage Tunisians) finally took place in Kairouan (Tunisia) and live from Strasbourg and several other cities in Tunisia and Europe!

ALDA Skopje has successfully finished the realization of the project “Shared or contested heritage” in cooperation with ForumZFD.

The whole Sisak County was shaken that Tuesday morning, December 29th, 2020, few minutes past midday. While the epicentre was only 5 Km from Petrinja, the earthquake hit the whole area, namely the towns of Glina and Sisak.
