As part of the PART-Y project, ALDA has created a Toolkit to Build a Communication Campaign for a Young and Inclusive Placemaking.

Mobilizing its network to provide greater support to Ukrainian colleagues and people. Knowing ALDA’s members’ actions to work together for one single aim: peace. This is why ALDA is glad to share “Youth4Ukraine” initiative, promoted by its member DYPALL Network

The second transnational meeting within the DAFLS project “Developing Applied Foreign Language Skills“ took place on 18 and 19 October 2021 in Belgrade.

The DEVOTE team has worked hard to develop the structure of a 6-module course for teachers and educators, aiming to provide them with skills and tools to integrate students with migrant backgrounds in schools.

On September 30th the training course for young leaders “50xcento” took place in the home of the Associazione Caracol Olol Jackson in Vicenza, Italy.

On Friday 8th October, following the training session in Sousse, Antonella Valmorbida, ALDA Secretary General, took part in the training course with “Tamkeen For development” (T4D). The latter is involved with ALDA, and with the support of the United Nations Democracy Fund – UNDEF, in the implementation of the project “Youth empowerment to build local democracy in Tunisia”.

Macedonians got their game on, during the promotion of the video game Rude Awakening in Bitola. On the 15th of September 2021, the Macedonian Centre for Photography organized a multimedia promotional event in the newly restored Manaki Cinema in the historical center of the city. The idea? Raising awareness and knowledge on World War I, and the game developed during the “Rude Awakening” Project.

Starting in October 2021 the online course will focus on “European Funding: new programming and new opportunities”- Italian version. During the course attendees will be provided with experience-based, good tips and insights useful to know when approaching this topic (course infopack here).

Starting in November 2021 the course will focus on “development of the project idea”. The course will be delivered online and in Italian. During the 4 days course attendees will be provided with concrete examples and professional insights on how to developed a project.

The “Game to EMbrace INtercultural education” – GEM IN project builds on this incentive to promote intercultural education by using non-formal and playful approaches, enhancing the acquisition of social and civic competences to young people.

Resulting from a consistent and committed work of 8-month theatre workshops, the show presented variety of artistic performances from poetry and singing to theatre and dancing. The delight and excitement of participants, their energetic and dynamic movements on stage, and their embodiment of the characters they played echoed the success of the show.

Within the “Rude Awakening” project, a videogame has been developed so that to both bring the younger generation back to the museum; and to learn about history.

An intense week of events, conferences and debates marked the second half of June 2021. Thus, ALDA, in the occasion of its General Assembly week, launched its seven Working Groups (WGs).

On June 11th 2021, the group of young people engaged in youth CSOs from Knjazevac had a meeting with the representative of the local governance, the Deputy Mayor Mr. Branislav Josifovic.

The partnership between ALDA+ and the Municipality of Lavarone – a town up in the mountains of Trentino –  has always been positive and of mutual growth.
